Hi! I'm Kirsys (pronounced Keer-sees – it's a unique one, I know!)

Growing up surrounded by mountains in the town of Sun Valley, Idaho, my love for the outdoors and exploring the world around me was sparked early on, often with my dad, ski team, and friends by my side.

I have always had a special place in my heart for wild places. I feel the most free and alive in remote locations where less people have wandered. It was fitting that when I was 18 I moved to Alaska for college. I spent so many years exploring stunning, remote locations growing up and in Alaska. Even before I owned a camera, I was obsessed with photos and capturing my adventures with an iPhone.

When I finally bought my first camera, it felt like a natural extension of how I already experienced the world. What began as a way to document the wild beauty I witnessed naturally evolved. Soon, I was being asked to photograph family portraits, senior sessions, weddings, and commercial work, especially for outdoor and lifestyle brands that resonate with my adventurous spirit.

Now based in the incredible landscape of Jackson, WY, I'm continually inspired. You can also find me deep in other passions such as sustainable fashion, traveling, swing dancing, and ice skating on wild ice. I can't wait to connect and hear about the moments you want to capture!
